چکیده
Abstract We report polycrystalline diamond epitaxial growth on ? -Ga 2 O 3 for device-level thermal management. focused establishing conditions accompanying the study of various nucleation strategies. A window was identified, yielding uniform-coalesced films while maintaining interface smoothness. In this first demonstration , a conductivity 110 ± 33 W m ?1 K and diamond/ boundary resistance 30.2 1.8 G were measured. The film stress managed by optimization techniques preventing delamination film. This work marks significant step towards management electronic devices.

Diamond and Polycrystalline Diamond for MEMSApplications :
To date most of the MEMS devices are been based on Silicon. This is due to the technological know-how accumulated on manipulating, machining, manufacturing of Silicon. However, only very few devices involve moving parts. This is because of the rapid wear arising from high friction in these Silicon based systems. Recent tribometric experiments carried out by Gardos on Silicon and polycrystalline...
متن کاملPolycrystalline diamond films as prospective UV photocathodes
Polycrystalline diamond films grown by chemical vapor deposition have been considered recently for a number of UV detection applications. Negative electron affinity, chemical and mechanical stability and relative ease of fabrication make such films attractive candidates for effective and stable UV photoconverters. In this paper we present our study of the absolute quantum efficiency of a thin f...
متن کاملNanofocusing optics for synchrotron radiation made from polycrystalline diamond.
Diamond possesses many extreme properties that make it an ideal material for fabricating nanofocusing x-ray optics. Refractive lenses made from diamond are able to focus x-ray radiation with high efficiency but without compromising the brilliance of the beam. Electron-beam lithography and deep reactive-ion etching of silicon substrates have been used in a transfer-molding technique to fabricate...
متن کاملAttosecond dynamical Franz-Keldysh effect in polycrystalline diamond.
Short, intense laser pulses can be used to access the transition regime between classical and quantum optical responses in dielectrics. In this regime, the relative roles of inter- and intraband light-driven electronic transitions remain uncertain. We applied attosecond transient absorption spectroscopy to investigate the interaction between polycrystalline diamond and a few-femtosecond infrare...
